The Iron Library visits Stein am Rhein

How did the scientific revolution in the 17th century affect smalltown life? The exhibition "Stein am Rhein im Spiegel der Zeit - das 17. Jahrhundert" (Stein am Rhein in the Mirror of Time - the 17th Century) at the Jakob and Emma Windler Foundation's Kulturhaus Obere Stube answers this question among many others. Highlights from the Iron Library's collection of works from the era of the Scientific Revolution have been on a rotating display there since 2022. For the new season opening, you will be able to see the earliest edition of the collected writings of Galileo, published in Bologna in 1656.
