Change on the Board of Trustees of the Iron Library Foundation
On April 1 2014, new members are joining the Board of Trustees of the Iron Library.
Prof. Dr. Martin Bastian, director of the Kunststoff-Zentrum SKZ in Würzburg (Germany), Irene Amstutz, managing director of the Economics Library of the University of Basel and Dr. Roland Hofer, keeper of the State Archives of Schaffhausen, are the new members of the Board of Trustees.
Roland Hofer is replacing Dr. René Specht, the long-term director of the town library of Schaffhausen, who resigned from the Board of Trustees to coincide with his retirement. Irene Amstutz replaces Hannes Hug, the long-term director of the Basel University Library, who resigned in the same year, also due to retirement.
We thank the resigning members for their long-time commitment and cordially welcome their successors.
