Thomas Fuhr appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Iron Library

As of 1 October 2024, Thomas Fuhr will become a member of the Board of Trustees of the GF Iron Library Foundation at the request of Andreas Müller, CEO. The Board of Trustees will thus include representatives of all divisions as well as the Group. Thomas Fuhr (1965) has been leading the New Technology Team at GF Building Flow Solutions, based in Germany, since 1 October 2022. He has more than 30 years of professional experience in the water and automotive industries. He joined Uponor as Chief Technology Officer in 2022 and is responsible for innovation, efficient manufacturing processes and supply chains in this role at what is now GF Building Flow Solutions.

His appointment to the Foundation council reflects his commitment and passion for industries and innovative technologies that promote sustainable change. “The Iron Library Foundation, with its bibliophile treasures in the field of materials and natural sciences and the history of technology, occupies a prominent position internationally,” he said.
