Handover at the Foundation Board of Trustees

Thanks to Roland's support, the Iron Library has been able to further consolidate its position as an outstanding specialised library for the history of technology and science. Important milestones during his tenure included the establishment of a collection focus on the history of plastics and the reorientation of the traditional History of Technology Conference in an international context. We would like to thank Roland very much for his great commitment and his prudent and forward-looking leadership of the foundation. His legacy will live on. Matthias Blumentrath, Corporate Secretary of Georg Fischer AG, can count on the support of the previous foundation board members Thomas Fuhr, Chief Technology Officer of GF Building Flow Solutions, and Noel Schreiber, Head of Human Resources at GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions, as the new president of the foundation.
