Memories of GF: Oral History Project teaser

Last year, the Iron Library and the Corporate Archives of Georg Fischer launched a comprehensive new oral history project to preserve the company’s heritage through the voices of the people who have helped shape it.

Many participants came to Paradies Monastery to share their memories, whilst Franziska Eggimann travelled to China and Japan to record the experiences of long-serving GF employees working far from the company’s headquarters in Schaffhausen.

The project will continue this summer, with further interviews being recorded to collect these fascinating personal accounts.
