The "HOWTO" exhibition at the Sitterwerk shows instructional films from the GF Corporate Archives

How is liquid steel prepared? How did the first automated production lines for malleable cast iron work? How is a steel casting of 50 tons tempered?
The Sitterwerk in St. Gallen invited the Iron Library to artistically document the technique of casting using historical instructional films from the Corporate Archives of Georg Fischer Ltd as part of an exhibition on manufacturing processes in instructive videos.
The Iron Library had to limit itself to a selection of a few video sequences on processes and products from countless hours of fascinating film material produced over the years at GF.
They can be seen from now until 31.10.2020 at the exhibition "HOWTO" in the Sitterwerk in St. Gallen.
