Ferrum 94 published!

The new issue of our journal Ferrum is now published and available for order! Under the title "Low Tech: Procedures, Actors, Concepts", the latest issue of the Iron Library's journal brings together a selection of contributions originally presented at the 44th History of Technology Conference held at Klostergut Paradies, Schlatt, in November 2025. The issue explores "low tech" from historical, cultural, social, and technological perspectives, with articles ranging from water infrastructure, bridge-building, and craft traditions to medical engineering, air conditioning alternatives, and even conceptual tools used in artificial intelligence. We are particularly pleased that the conference's international perspective, featuring researchers from Europe, North America, and Asia, have now been brought together in a permanent scholarly publication.
